Returns & Refunds

Our policy for equipment returns, completed services, deposits, cancellations, and installed systems.

Effective date: September 23, 2026

MonsterTech.com provides installed technology systems and related services. This policy applies to purchases made on or after the effective date. The written estimate or agreement for your project may include additional terms; where those terms differ, we will review the applicable agreement with you. Nothing here limits rights provided by law.

Before installation

If you change your mind before equipment is ordered, contact us promptly. We will review any completed planning or service work and the payment terms in your agreement. Once equipment is ordered, a change-of-mind return is available only if the supplier accepts the item back or we agree in writing that it can be returned to our stock. We do not promise a return when our supplier will not accept the item. We will identify known nonreturnable items in your estimate or agreement before ordering.

For an eligible standard item, contact us within 7 days of receiving it. The item must be unused, uninstalled, complete, undamaged, and in its original packaging. Please obtain return instructions before sending or bringing in equipment. If the return is approved, we will tell you the amount of any supplier restocking fee and return shipping charge before processing it. A restocking fee will not exceed 25% of the equipment price unless a different amount was specifically disclosed and accepted in writing before purchase. No restocking fee applies to covered defects or returns required by law.

Special-order, custom-configured, or custom-made items may have different return terms. We will identify those items and their terms in writing before ordering them. A defective item is handled under the applicable warranty and your legal rights, regardless of a change-of-mind return limit.

After installation

Once equipment has been installed, a change of preference does not automatically qualify the completed project for a full refund. Contact us if the equipment is defective, the installation is faulty, or you believe the system differs from what was promised. We will review the original scope, inspect the issue when needed, and explain the available remedy before making changes.

If you request a different model, feature, camera view, lighting behavior, or configuration outside the approved scope, we will provide a written price for any equipment and labor before proceeding. We will identify any credit available for equipment we can return or reuse. We do not charge for correcting a covered workmanship problem.

Labor, services, deposits, and cancellations

Labor already performed is not returnable or refundable because of a change of mind. This includes installation, removal, diagnostics, configuration, programming, and service visits. If we performed work incorrectly or did not deliver an agreed service, contact us so we can review and correct the issue or provide any remedy required by the agreement or law.

If you cancel before completion, we will provide an accounting of work performed, equipment and materials committed to the project, any applicable supplier charges, and payments received. Any remaining refund or balance will be determined under your agreement and applicable law.

Some sales made away from our place of business may carry a legal right to cancel. When applicable, those rights take priority over this policy.

Existing equipment

Removal of old equipment does not by itself authorize disposal. Before work begins, we will ask whether removed items should be left onsite, recycled, or disposed of, and record your choice in the project paperwork. Equipment already removed or disposed of cannot be promised back.

Request a return or review

Call (407) 268-6428 or email Sales@monstertech.com. Include your name, project address, invoice number if available, and a description of the issue. Please do not remove installed equipment before contacting us, because inspection may be needed to identify the problem.
